WHAT IS THE TASTE OF TASMANIA?

Showcasing Tasmania’s finest producers over seven days and nights, the Taste of Tasmania is a celebration of Tasmania’s culinary evolution.

The Taste of Tasmania operates between 28 December and 3 January each year. No other festival is able to provide locals and visitors the opportunity to reconnect in unique spaces, while tasting the state’s best food and beverages and toasting the yachts racing to the finish line of the Sydney to Hobart yacht race.

Free entry and free entertainment including an extensive program for young adults and children will be featured across the festival and attracts a broad audience to celebrate our summer lifestyle.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

As Australia's only island state, access to Tasmania is by air and sea only.

Regular flights depart from Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane and fly direct to Hobart and Launceston.

Alternatively many visitors travel to Tasmania from Melbourne by sea on the Spirit of Tasmania. Departing from Melbourne and arriving in Devonport, this has the added benefit of letting you bring your own car and make the most of Tasmania's touring potential.
