Luminous Events is a Hobart-based events management company specialising in unique bespoke events. We are Meredith Wilson and Carmen van den Berg, and have been operating Luminous since 2012.
Our passion is working with organisations and communities to produce experience-focused events that both inspire and delight attendees. We apply a unique perspective to projects combining a mix of creativity, attention to detail, and an easygoing personal approach.
As Luminous Events we’ve had the privilege of working on a broad range of events for a diverse clientele in both the non-profit and corporate sectors. Our most significant large-scale event is the Festival of Bright Ideas, recently held in August for the third consecutive year. This two-day participatory festival presents an engaging program of science experiences and entertainment delivered by the Tasmanian science community, and attracts over 7000 visitors.
