Kids in the Park Twilight Cinema

Once twilight descends, settle in on Parliament House Lawns with friends and family and soak up the atmosphere of our open air cinema.

Bring your picnic blankets or pull up a bean bag, grab some popcorn and ice cream and join us from 6.30pm to enjoy a great line up of family favourites

Twilight Cinema is free and runs every night of the Festival except New Year’s Eve.

Thursday 28th December - Trolls, classified G
After the Bergens invade Troll Village, Poppy, the happiest Troll ever born, and the curmudgeonly Branch set off on a journey to rescue her friends.

Friday 29th December - Zootopia, classified PG
In a city of anthropomorphic animals, a rookie bunny cop and a cynical con artist fox must work together to uncover a conspiracy.

Saturday 30th Dec - Finding Dory, classified G
Dory, the friendly but forgetful blue tang fish, begins a search for her long-lost parents, and everyone learns a few things about the real meaning of family along the way.

Monday 1st January - Muppets Most Wanted, classified G
Disney's Muppets Most Wanted takes the entire Muppets gang on a global tour, selling out grand theatres in some of Europe's most exciting destinations, including Berlin, Madrid, Dublin and London. But mayhem follows the Muppets overseas as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine - the World's Number One Criminal (and a dead ringer for Kermit the Frog) and his dastardly sidekick Dominic, aka Number Two.

Tuesday 2nd January - BFG, classified PG
A girl named Sophie encounters the Big Friendly Giant who, despite his intimidating appearance, turns out to be a kind-hearted soul who is considered an outcast by the other giants because, unlike them, he refuses to eat children. 

Wednesday 3rd January - Babe, classified G
Babe is a little pig who doesn't quite know his place in the world. With a bunch of odd friends, like Ferdinand the duck who thinks he is a rooster and Fly the dog who he calls mom, Babe realises that he has the makings to become the greatest sheep pig of all time, and Farmer Hoggett knows it. With the help of the sheep dogs Babe learns that a pig can be anything that he wants to be.
