The Taste of Tasmania continues its commitment to the environment. The 2013-14 event:
- uses a three-stream recycling system;
- ensures all stalls use carbon neutral and compostable crockery and cutlery; and
- all The Taste of Tasmania marketing material is produced locally and printed on sustainable paper stock.
We are continuously working to reduce our carbon footprint and we offset part of our emissions through the purchase of renewable carbon credits. We ask visitors to The Taste of Tasmania to please help in assisting us to reduce our carbon footprint and run a cleaner and more sustainable event. Walk, cycle, carpool or catch a bus to The Taste of Tasmania, and ‘reduce, reuse and recycle’.
