Entry to this site is subject to rules set out by the Hobart City Council. If you fail to comply with these rules then you may be required to leave the site. The site includes Princes Wharf No 1 and surrounds, the fenced-off area of Salamanca Lawns, the closed portion of Castray Esplanade and Parliament House Lawns.

The Hobart City Council takes no responsibility for any loss or damage suffered by you or your property, howsoever caused. Patrons enter the site at their own risk.
We may use CCTV to monitor the site for your safety. The Hobart City Council may take photos, video and sound recordings of the site. The Hobart City Council and their licencees and associates may use your images, reproduce any or all images in any form or composite representation by Hobart City Council and its licencees and associates without compensation or notification. All images shall remain the property of Hobart City Council in all forms.
The Hobart City Council may require you to leave the site and may prevent you from returning. The Council may take and distribute to its staff and contractors a picture of you for this purpose.
Professional photographers, videographers and members of the media are asked to register with the management and administration team prior to starting work on site. Audio visual equipment (including but not limited to cameras, video recorders, mobile phones and pagers) are permitted subject to the discretion of the venue.
Please don’t get drunk. People who appear to be intoxicated or who behave in a quarrelsome manner will be required to leave the site.
Please wear shoes on site.
Please leave pets at home.
All patrons are required to comply with the reasonable directions of management (including security) personnel at all times.
Posters, pamphlets, commercial signage and other such materials are not permitted to be brought or distributed on site.
Busking, hawking and like activities are not permitted on site.
Do not enter or attempt to enter any area which is designated “no access”, “staff only”, “out of bounds” or is otherwise cordoned off. Do not go in the water.
Please behave safely; do not stand on tables or chairs, and do not behave aggressively.
Please finish your drinks on site as no opened alcohol containers may be taken off the site. Parliament House Lawns is a drug and alcohol free area.
These items must not be brought on site. Any person in possession of these items will be required to leave the site. The Hobart City Council may check bags for prohibited items.
